Meeting/Event Information

This Advent, join your CDA sisters for a special four-week journey of prayer, Scripture, reflection, and sisterhood as we prepare our hearts for the coming of Christ.

Using Ascension’s Joy to the World: An Advent Journey with the Angelus, we will reflect on Mary’s fiat—her faithful “yes” to God—and consider how we, too, are called to trust and surrender to the Lord in both the extraordinary and ordinary moments of our lives.

Each week centers on a different line of the Angelus, drawing us more deeply into the mystery of the Incarnation through Scripture, daily reflections, journaling, sacred art and visio divina, and small-group discussion.

The simple practice of pausing to pray the Angelus can help reorient our hearts toward Christ. Together, we’ll encourage one another to make space for God during a season that can so easily become filled with busyness.
